This page contains recordings of my guitar playing as I progress through the Learn and Master guitar course
which I am using to rebuild my career and playing back to a good standard.  All of my recording will be my interpretation of tunes and I hope you enjoy them. If you click on the links they should open up in your preferred audio player embedded in your browser or just sit back and listen to the jukebox..
For those who want to know the technicalities the early tracks were recorded using a Boss BR600 8 track Digital Recorder click on the link for information on this recorder. Some of the later tracks and the recordings at My Songs were using the home studio I have set up now.

I must say that none of my recordings are for sale as if any of you would want to buy them. The backing tracks for the Shadows numbers are provided by Mustang Music Ltd and they are of course copyrighted. So if you want the backing tracks or any of Zoe McCullochs (she is much better than me)recordings please visit their site.
My own songs are written using Sibelius Notation software currently version 6 and recorded using Pro Tools Digital Audio software and hardware. All instruments apart from drums are played by me either using my various guitars or MIDI keyboards and sequencing or virtual instrument software.

Winter Wonderland this was recorded as part of a CD the students on the LMG course are putting together for the tutor at Christmas. 19/11/07

Theme for Young Lovers  My  recording of a Shadows number OK its nothing like the original in fact none of my recordings are but they are my interpretation of the tunes. 01.02.08

Perfidia My version of a Shadows number. This was one my brother played a lot when he was alive. 03/03/08

Sleep Walk This was a number by one of the students on the course I am involved with. Recorded 11/03/08

Nivram recorded 27/03/08. This Shadows duet was recorded by a fellow student Paul who lives in the USA and myself. We recorded the two guitar parts separately and then mixed them down with the bass and drum backing to the track you hear. Paul played the rhythm part and I the lead.
